Right In Florida

Motto: This is what happens when Insanity and Banality come together.

Name:
Location: North Central Florida, United States

I'm an aging boomer, white male (cue scary music); not religious, mostly conservative. Married to the same woman forever. No kids-by choice (I believe in personal choice in most areas of life). Voted mostly Republican until November 2000 when the national Democrats tried to steal the election in Florida. I promised to never again vote for another Democrat; kept that promise to date.

Genetically Modified People - Ah, Brave New World

  •           Well, what do you know.  Medical Science has done it.
  •           Genetically modified people...pretty sure I've read about this in numerous science fiction novels. Somehow, I don't think this will end well.

We're aborting millions of children (not condemning, just commenting) but also "creating" a few GM people.

All for the noblest of reasons of course. Ah, well. Science has never been misused so nothing to worry about.

A private fertility clinic in the United States has launched an investigation into the health of 17 teenagers who were born as a result of a controversial IVF technique that produced the world’s first “three-parent” embryos more than 15 years ago, The Independent can reveal.
